Utah Honor Flight 2018
One of our residents at Our House Assisted Living of Ogden, Ed Wall left for Washington D.C. today with his son to be a part of the Utah Honor Flight 2018. Ed graduated Logan High School in 1943. He soon was drafted into the Army. He really wanted to go into the Air Force and become a Engine Mechanic but he learned he was colorblind. Off to the Army he went.
He served under General Patton at the Battle of the Bulge. He said what a privilege it was serving under him. He served for 2 1/2 years. After returning home he met his wife “Nelly” Jean through some mutual friends. They have 6 children and were married for 67 years. We are so proud of Ed. What a wonderful experience. Thank you Ed for your brave service.
Our House Assisted Living of Ogden we wanted to honor our Veterans. What an honor. Congratulations to him! We also wanted to do our own Honor Flight tribute, Our House Assisted Living of Ogden Honor Flight. We are so proud of all of our Veterans. 🇺🇸
